Working with a Virtual Assistant

Have you thought about hiring a Virtual Assistant to support you, your company, or your theatre, but aren’t sure where to start? You’ve come to the right place!

A Virtual Assistant can be a tremendous asset to have in your corner, especially when they are an industry specialist. I come alongside you, one professional to another, to give you back time so you can focus on the things that are most important to you. I offer the ability to take a wide range of tasks off your plate, including:

  • managing your enquiries & executive inboxes and setting up processes that simplify your email management

  • coordinating your calendar, setting appointments, and scheduling reminders so you never forget an event

  • digital filing in existing systems, or building an easy-to-navigate file storage system so you can find any document in seconds

  • accounts payable/receivable data entry - I’m not a bookkeeper, but I can keep your accounts up to date so your bookkeeper’s job is simple and easy (saving you money!)

  • drafting a variety of correspondence, whether it’s stock email responses, gala invitations, community collaboration requests, or executive communication - all you have to do is proof and sign!

  • liaising with theatres, suppliers, ticketing agencies, and contract workers (such as crew).

  • preparing reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and minutes, so your documents always look professional, beautiful, and clear

  • transcription from voice memos/recordings, so you can draft documents or notes on the go and save time behind the desk

  • managing & performing major updates to your website on Squarespace or a similar platform, ensuring you have an online presence that’s always opening-night fresh

  • creating new systems & processes, including integration, training your team remotely (or locally if you prefer), compiling manuals & workflows, and building custom template suites exclusively for your company.

Working with me takes four easy steps

AUDITION

Take the first step by reading my Services & Pricing Guide. If you like what you see, book a Discovery Call. This is an opportunity for us to chat, get to know each other, and work out how I as a VA can best help you in your business.

REHEARSAL

Our first order of business is a Kickoff Call. This is where we’ll establish the nitty-gritty of the work I’ll be doing for you, organise access to any files, emails, and accounts I need access to, and get me up to speed on your processes. I’ll also use this call to introduce you to your client portal.

CASTING

After the Discovery Call, once we’ve decided to move forward, you’ll receive an email from me with a summary of our call, a contract proposal, and your initial invoice. When the invoice is paid and the contract is signed & returned, the fun can begin!

CURTAINS UP!

It’s showtime! I complete the work outlined in our contract. We check in regularly with updates and progress reports. If we’re working on a one-off project, we say ‘happy trails’ when the work is done. If we have an ongoing contract, we have a review call after ten weeks to discuss extending the contract.
